Armenians began smuggling cigarettes in France, but pleased be imprisoned

Two Armenian citizens were convicted in the French city tour on Wednesday, January 19, for actions committed from September to December 2021, French media wrote.

The police reported that the citizens of Armenia – Andranik and Marina were brought to criminal responsibility for smuggling tobacco products from Eastern European countries. When searching, they found a large amount of cash, as well as 231 cigarette block, 300 grams of gold, 36 bottles of elite spirits, 25 bottles of vodka and weapons. By the decision of the court, they were sentenced to 10 months in prison and a fine of about 70 thousand euros.
