The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announces the second shelling of the positions of the Azerbaijani army for the Armed Forces of Armenia, as well as the illegal Armenian armed formation in Karabakh.
According to the military department, on December 16 from 17:20 to 18:15 units of the Armed Forces of Armenia from the perspective located in the area of the village of Goturgubulag of the Chastberk district and Yukhara Shorga Basarkechera district, they were interrupted by rifle weapons of various caliber positions of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of the village of Gauli Gedabek district and Zeilik of the Kelbadzharsky district.
In addition, on December 16 from 16:05 to 18:00, members of the illegal Armenian armed forces in Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers were temporarily deployed, fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani army located in the direction of the Khojavevent district.
Azerbaijani Army took adequate response measures, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan notes in the message.
