The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announces the shelling of the positions of the Azerbaijani army by the Armed Forces of Armenia, as well as the illegal Armenian armed formation in Karabakh.
According to the military department, November 22 from 10:35 to 14:30 units of the Armed Forces of Armenia from the perspective located in the area of the village of Azizli of the Basarkechara district, with interruptions, sheltered from rifle weapons of various caliber positions of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of the village of Yukhara Ayrym Kelbadzharsky district.
In addition, on November 22, from 09:17 to 14:48, members of the illegal Armenian armed forces in Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers were temporarily deployed, fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani army, located in the direction of the Hodzhavent, Fizulinsky, Teretersky and Khojalinsky districts.
Azerbaijani Army took adequate response measures, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan notes in the message.
