Armenians who left Lachin demand meeting with Pashinyan

Armenians who left the Lachinsky district of Azerbaijan hold a protest in front of the Armenian government, demanding a meeting with the head of government Nikol Pashinyan, write the Armenian media.

The reason for the protest is a housing problem. In particular, according to protesters allocated by the state, funds are not enough to purchase housing, taking into account the increase in real estate prices. In addition, they complain about the terms of the purchase and sale transaction, since they rent housing, and when buying apartments, additional costs are required.

Promotion participants demand from the authorities to revise the amount of funds allocated to them for the purchase of apartments.

One of the participants in the action reported that she was currently renting a house in one of the villages, pays 70 thousand drams for rent (about 180 US dollars) per month. At the same time, even this house, where there is no bathroom and bathroom, is estimated at 25 million drams (about 62 thousand US dollars).
