As Result Of Landslide In Columbia, 8 People Died

8 people died and 5 were injured as a result of landslides caused by heavy rains in Medelin, Columbia.

In the areas of Bello and Altos de Orient, the giant mass of soil fell on several houses as a result of the landslide, which occurred after heavy rains.

As a result of the landslide, 8 people died, 5 people were hospitalized.

The natural disaster is directed by numerous search and rescue and fire brigades. Ten houses for precautions from possible risks are evacuated.

Medelin’s mayor Federico Gutierres said that all emergency protocols have been involved from the first moment of the incident, and help was delivered to those who needed it.

The heavy rains that have been going through all Columbia since March led to human victims and material damage in many regions.
