Assad appointed ethnic Armenian Ambassador to Syria to Armenia

Syrian President Bashar al -Assad appointed a new ambassador of Syria in Armenia – he became a member of the People’s Council of the Arab Republic of Assyan.

As the Dip representative of Syria in Armenia, Nora Arysyan will replace Muhammad-Ahmad Hajj, who has worked in this position for 5 years.

Armenian media write that Nora Arysyan is a philologist and writer, worked as a press secretary of the Armenian Embassy in Syria and a consultant in the Ministry of Culture of the SAR. Since 2013, he heads the department of Armenian studies at the University of Damascus.
