Acting assistant US Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia Philip Ricker arrived in Azerbaijan, a diplomatic source reported Trend.
According to the source, the visit will last two days.
Earlier it was reported that the goals of the visit, according to the American State Department, will be “promoting bilateral and regional priorities” and “Support for Democratic and Economic Development in the Region”. Azerbaijan I.O. Assistant US Secretary of State will meet with representatives of the authorities, civil society and business, will discuss issues related to the situation in Karabakh.
