Astana: International Exhibition “Traces Of Oguz Steppe Culture” Was Opened

In the National Museum of Kazakhstan, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information, the grand opening of the international exhibition “Traces of the Oguz Steppe Culture” was held. On Thursday, September 25, the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Kazakhstan reports.

as part of the event, a scientific seminar was also held, where historians, archaeologists, ethnologists and culturologists discussed topical issues of the study of the Oguz heritage. RK, Kyzylorda Regional Museum of Local Lore and Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata. Many of these exhibits are recognized as an object of world heritage and serve as an important tool for the popularization of national culture at the international level.

The exposition covers a wide range of materials: from archaeological finds in the jacket to the monuments of the VIII-XI centuries that reflect the beliefs and cultural traditions of the Oguz tribes. Immersive technologies and multimedia materials allow viewers to feel the atmosphere of the era deeper and look at historical processes in a new way.

Exhibition “Traces of the Oguz steppe culture” is a large-scale scientific and cultural project aimed at popularizing the wealthy historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan and the assertion of its significance in the world’s civilizational civilization context.

The exhibition will last until October 25, 2025.
