Astoria Grande Cruise Liner Was Moored In Turkish Port Of AMARA 28 May

Astoria Grande cruise ship, emerging from Russian Sochi, was moored at the port of the city of AMARA in the Bartin province on the northern coast of Turkey.

On board the 11-story liner 193 meters long and 30 meters wide were 997 passengers and a crew of 440 people. This is the 71st entry of the vessel in AMAMA since the first arrival of August 3, 2022.

Tourists at the ramp was met by the head of the AMARA administration Kadir Peresha, the head of the municipality of the city of Redya Chakir, the head of the district police, Sevgul Hayal and other officials. Passengers who went through all formalities were distributed information brochures in Russian.

After leaving the port, tourists went on an excursion to the main attractions of the city: the AMAMAR Museum, the Chekzhihyire artisans, a large harbor, the AMARA fortress and the Kemer bridge. Some passengers also went by buses to the city of Safranbolo, known for its Ottoman mansions and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

It is noted that this is the 12th visit of the cruise airliner to AMAMA this year. In the evening, the ship will continue its journey to Samsun.

The project “Passenger pier and the yacht harbor of the AMARA port”, implemented by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, started in 2018 after the tender. The completion of the construction of the wavelength allowed Astoria Grande for the first time to go to AMAMA on August 3, 2022. Since then, the airliner has delivered 58 037 tourists to the city.
