Azerbaijan purchases 432,000 doses of AztraZeneca vaccine as part of the fight against the spread of a new type of coronavirus infection. The corresponding order was signed by the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov.
According to the order, on the basis of an agreement on the supply of medicines dated September 18, 2020, signed between the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance of Azerbaijan and GAVİ ALLİANCE, 432 thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccine from a Swedish company will be delivered to Azerbaijan within 180 days AztraZeneca.
The Ministry of Health and the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance will have to resolve issues arising from this order.
