At 7th Ethno-Sports Forum, Traditional Turkish Firing From Onions Caused Admiration For Participants

At the 7th Ethnomotive Forum, which took place in St. Petersburg, traditional Turkish shooting from Luke once again caused admiration for the audience.

President of the Federation of Traditional Turkish Firing from Turkey, Jengiz Toxyz, appreciated the award of the Turkish athlete Aishegul Demirbag Chalyshkan, who won a gold medal in shooting from traditional onions at the V -World Games of Nomads in Kazakhstan.

At the forum, at which the Anadolu Agency acts as a Global Communication Partner, Toxye noted that he was doubly pleased to reward Chalyshkan: “We again witnessed the interaction of crops at the Etnospor forum, which takes place under the motto of traditional sports for the 7th time.”

Speaking about the importance of the forum, Toxysis continued: “In this sense, we exchange ideas, as well as cultural interaction. This is a very useful forum in terms of revival and the appropriateness of those sports that may disappear over time.”

According to him, the Federation takes part in the forum in order to promote traditional firing from onions and ensure interaction between countries related to traditional firing from onions, toxes said: “I can say that we had very useful meetings. I can say that it was a very useful meeting and forum in terms of ideas, technical issues and in the name of preserving culture and exchanging cultures.”

When we see that the traditional sport, which we attach great importance, is developing in this way, it inspires us and our athletes.”
