In the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine prevented attempts on the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Roman Leshchenko. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastic, the Ukrainian media report.
According to him, the murder of Leshchenko ordered a US citizen and a citizen of Ukraine because of old debts.
Monastic told that a few months ago, employees of the department became known that a citizen of Ukraine is looking for a killer for custom-made murder. She was taken into the development and led on a passing killer, all their communication was documented. In the process, it turned out that the main customer is a citizen of the United States.
On November 17, the customers met with Killer, discussed the details and transferred him a deposit for work – 20 thousand dollars. After that, the Ministry of Internal Affairs decided to delay customers.
Leshchenko, who also attended a briefing, said that he learned about the planning of the attempt on him a few hours before the briefing, and said that she could have such consequences in 2018 in 2018.
According to the monastery, both customers are detained and are in the SIZO, they are facing the punishment right up to life imprisonment. The US Embassy in Ukraine informed about the detention.
32-year-old Roman Leshchenko became the Minister of Agrarian Policy in December 2020. Previously, he was an authorized President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on land and head of the State Geographicadastra.
