Azerbaijan athlete Nazim Babaev could not break into the final in the jumps triple on the Olympics in Tokyo.
In qualifications, Nazim spoke in the group “A” and, jumping at 16.72 meters (this is the best indicator of Babayev in the season), took the 8th place. The standard for hitting the final was the result of 17.05 meters. Now it remained to hope that after the completion of the struggle in the group “B”, it will still be possible to break into the number of 12 finalists. But, alas, the result of our jumper was 15th among 32 athletes.
