Attractions of Cappadocia in 8 months of year visited more than 3 million tourists

The attractions of the famous tourist region of Anatolia – Cappadocia in January -August of this year visited 3 million 53 thousand 827 local and foreign tourists. Such data are given by the administration of the governor of the Turkish province of Nevchekhir.

Cappadocia is famous for its unique natural landscape, including the peribajalare valley (“Frames”), ancient monasteries in the rocks, underground cities of Derinka and Kaymakly. In the open -air museum – Goroma can be flights on balloons. The region is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Lists.

The most visited attraction in the period under consideration was the Hajibektash Museum, which adopted 285,200 visitors. This is followed by ruins in Zelva – 109 014 visitors and an open -air museum – 100 565.

In the same period of 2022, the attractions of Cappadocia visited 2 million 544 thousand 909 local x and foreign tourists.
