Australia imposed sanctions against Russian journalists and security forces

Australian authorities imposed sanctions against eight Russian journalists, as well as a number of civil servants and organizations, TASS reports with reference to the letter of the Australian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

restrictive measures affected the Director General of the Russian news agency Dmitry Kiselev, CEO of RT Alexei Nikolov, journalist and leading all-Russian state television and radio broadcasting company Sergey Brilev, Gazprom Media General Director of Alexander Zharov, TV presenter Mikhail Leontiev, military correspondents Evgenia Poddubnoy, Alexander Kotz and Dmitry Stoshin, as well as the director of the Victory Museum Alexander Schoolboy, the acting head of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies Alexander Chupyan, First Deputy Director of the FSB Sergey Korolev and First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia Nikolai Bogdanovsky.

At the same time, restrictions were introduced in relation to the Russian private military company Wagner and two Belarusian enterprises: the manufacturer of caterpillar equipment Minotor-Service and OJSC KB Radar. The list of persons who affect anti -Russian sanctions includes also citizens of Ukraine – deputies of the Verkhovna Rada Taras Kozak and Ilya Kiva.
