Australia introduced sanctions against Lukashenko and his family members

The Federal Government of Australia has introduced sanctions against the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and his family members, as well as 22 more Russians because of their role in hostilities in Ukraine.

It is noted that Lukashenko was added to the sanction list “for providing strategic support for Russia and its armed forces during the invasion of Ukraine.”

Also, the sanctions of the federal government affected 22 people, who are called “Russian propagandists”, among which there are major editors of the media organizes of Russia Today, the Strategic Culture Foundation, Inforos and NewsFront.
