Australia will allocate $ 3 million for humanitarian aid to Sudan

Australia intends to allocate 4.45 million Australian dollars (about $ 3 million) as humanitarian assistance to Sudan.

According to Australia, the Australian Foreign Ministry, the head of the Foreign Ministry of Penny Wong on the sidelines of the conference of donors to help the Sudan in Geneva, stated this on Tuesday.

According to her, the government of Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanze will allocate an additional 4.45 million Australian dollars to overcome the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.

“Food, water and basic necessities, as well as medical devices, will be purchased for the allocated funds. The International Red Cross Committee will be engaged in supplies,” she said.

Wong also noted that the total amount of funds directed to this day as humanitarian assistance to the Sudan will amount to 10.45 million Australian dollars (about $ 7 million).
