Australia will make Hamas to list of terrorist organizations

Australia’s Interior Minister Karen Andrew said that the official Canberra intends to make the Palestinian Hamas movement, which controls the gas sector to the list of terrorist organizations. This is stated in the statement of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Australia, reports Anadolu.

According to Andrew, the Australian authorities intend to update the list of terrorist organizations, and to include the entire Hamas organization in it (while only its military wing is included in the list), as well as the Syrian groupings “Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham” and “Huras Ad-Dean “.

Andrew noted that the Australian government is aimed at protecting Australians from terrorism and extremism: “The views of Hamas and other groups cause deep alarms. In Australia there is no place for their ideology.”
