Austria: a new chancellor

President of Austria Alexander Van Bellen led Alexander Sallenberg to the oath as a new Chancellor of Austria after leaving this post Sebastian Kurtz, reports TASS.

The ceremony took place in the office of the head of state in Vienna. Sallenberg since 1997 has been working in the Austrian Foreign Ministry system, has become the new Chancellor of the Republic, representing the Conservative Austrian Folk Party.

The new Chancellor was born on June 20, 1969 in Bern (Switzerland) in the family of the Austrian diplomat of the noble origin of Wolfgang Sallenberg. Rose in India, Spain and France, where he was because of the travelers of the father.

On October 9, Sebastian Kurtz announced that due to the investigation leading in relation to him on suspicion of prediction of bribery and abuse, the post of Chancellor of Austria, but remains the leader of the ANP and will take the chair of the chairman of its faction in the National Council (Lower Parliament Chamber).
