Austria will not pay for the Russian gas in rubles, the Minister of Defense of Claudia Tanner said.
“We will not pay in rubles. Here we are united with all other countries of the European Union,” Tanner said in an interview with Puls 4 TV channel, TASS quotes it.
Previously, the Anti-Crisis Cabinet of the Austria Government together with the E-Control energy regulator announced the activation of the early warning of emergency in case of termination of gas supplies from Russia.
