Award Ceremony For Winners Of Kelajak Merosi Prize Took Place In Tashkent

In the capital of Uzbekistan, the city of Tashkent, the awarding of the winners of the Kelajak Merosi Prize took place.

According to the press service of the head of the Uzbek state, as part of a visit to the Center for Islamic Civilization, the presidents of the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan took part in the solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the international Kelajak Merosi Prize.

International award established by presidential decree Uzbekistan, is aimed at stimulating national and foreign representatives of the creative intelligentsia who have achieved significant success in the fields of literature, culture, art, science, education and digital technologies.

The winners of the first competition were representatives of the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan: in the “Literature” nomination – Secretary General of TURKSOY, People’s Writer of Kyrgyzstan Sultan Raev, in the “Culture” nomination – people’s poet Tajikistan Davlat Safarzoda, in the nomination “Theater and Cinema” – artist of the National Drama Theater of Kazakhstan named after M. Avezov Erkebulan Dayirov, in the nomination “Music and Dance” – People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Alim Gasimov, in the nomination “Fine and Applied Arts” – People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Babasari Annamiradov, in the nomination “Science, Education and Digital Technologies” – Deputy Director of the International Center under the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Dilfuza Egamberdieva.

The laureates, in the presence of the leaders, were presented with a prize statuette, a diploma and a monetary reward in the amount of 10 thousand dollars.
