Tehran will “allow low -level enrichment of uranium over a limited period of time.” This was reported by the Axios news platform with reference to two sources that provided information about the project of the American proposal on a nuclear transaction.
The article emphasizes that the US administration’s statement about permission to low -level enrichment of Uranus for a limited time contradicts its previous statements that Washington will not allow Tehran to enrich Uranus.
It is indicated that the draft proposal submitted to Iran by the special representative of the US President Donald Trump with Steve Whitkoff on May 31 contains “preliminary ideas”, which are planned to be discussed at the next round of negotiations.
According to the project, Iran will not be allowed to develop internal capacities to enrich uranium, with the exception of civilian purposes. After the conclusion of the agreement, the country will have to reduce the level of enrichment to 3% for a certain period.
– Iranian-American nuclear negotiations and Trump’s proposal

American officials, who previously allowed the possibility of low -level enrichment of Uranus Tehran, recently stated that they now demand a complete cessation of enrichment.
The parties held five rounds of negotiations through the mediation of Oman. The time and place of the next meeting has not yet been defined.
American media reported that on May 11, a written proposal under a nuclear transaction was transferred at negotiations in the Oman of the Iranian delegation. US President Donald Trump announced the proposal: “But [Iran] should act quickly, otherwise bad things will happen.”
Foreign Minister Iran Abbas Arakchi, in turn, confirmed that the proposal, which Trump mentioned about two weeks ago, was transferred to Oman on May 31.
