Azal begins to perform special flights to Tel Aviv

On July 11, Azerbaijan Airlines Airlines starts performing special flights on the route Baku Tel Aviv-Baku.

Flights on this route will be carried out weekly on Sundays, HAQQIN.AZ was told in the press service of the company.

The sale of air tickets is carried out on the official website of the airline www.azal.az, as well as in accredited air carrier agencies.

The transportation will be made by the categories of passengers who are allowed to fly in conditions of existing epidemiological restrictions.

According to the decision of the Operational Staff under the Cabinet of Ministers, the citizens of Israel from June 21 can travel to Azerbaijan under the condition:

– granting a certificate about the passage of the total vaccination (cowid passport), or a certificate of recovery from the disease;

– as well as certificates about the negative result of PCR testing to coronavirus decorated within 72 hours before flight departure.

Citizens of Israel under 18 at the entrance to Azerbaijan by air can only provide a certificate of negative PCR test, for children under one year, no certificates and certificates are required.

When flying from Tel Aviv to Baku, testing on COVID-19 can be held in any accredited state clinic or laboratory. The certificate of the negative result of the PCR test is desired by the presence of a QR code confirming its authenticity. This will help speed up the passage of formal procedures at the airport.

Passengers of this route should be verified that the test result on COVID-19 is valid within 72 hours before flight departure.
