Today, on March 16, the presentation of new opportunities and prospects for the development of cooperation between the National Azerbaijani Azerbaijan (AZAL) and tourist agents of Turkey took place in Istanbul.
The press service of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC reported that the focus during the event was paid to discussing sales issues in Turkey, and the meetings were considered to fulfill the tasks of performing flights during the COVID-19 pandemic period.
The event was organized by Aviareps Turkey – the leading global company for working with airlines in the field of tourism.
The Fuad of Yusifov, Head of the Marketing and Production and Production of Azerbaijan Airlines, which stressed not only the fraternal, but also strategically important in the nature of international relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, spoke at the entrance speech.
Azzu Guliyev’s tourism specialist made a presentation of the country’s tourism potential, noting its broad tourist perspectives.
In the framework of the event, the presentation was carried out by a manager on the route network Azal airline in Asia region and the Middle East Elvin Raziev. He noted that Turkey is a leading country by the number of flights with Azerbaijan.
Istanbul is the most connected city in the Azal route network. Flights are performed as “Azerbaijani airlines” to the new Istanbul Airport and Buta Airways Lourogenant at Sabih Airport Gecchen.
It is also worth noting that citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey can easily travel between the two countries using only their biometric identity cards. Simplicity of travel is an additional stimulus to increase the passenger traffic between the two countries.
Every year, thousands of tourists from Azerbaijan and Turkey travels between the two countries, and this figure will continue to grow as the restrictions introduced due to a pandemic.
