In Azerbaijan, the provision of one -time payment to military personnel and employees (heirs) of the internal affairs bodies who were in the service until August 2, 1997 and received disability began. To implement paragraph 4.1 of the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan dated December 23, 2021 No. 1513, a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 271 of August 2, 2022 was signed.
The rules approved by the Decree regulate the provision of one -time payment to military personnel and employees of the internal affairs bodies, as well as members of their families whose disability was established as a result of injury in the performance of military service duties in connection with the protection of territorial integrity, independence and constitutional system of Azerbaijan.
The size of a lump -sum payment in accordance with the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan No. 1513 of December 23, 2021 is determined as follows:
I degree of disability – 8,800 manat;
II degree of disability – 6,600 manat;
III degree of disability – 4,400 manat.
to receive a one -time payment have the right:
– persons who were appointed disability as a result of injuries received during the service until August 2, 1997;
– persons who have a disability as a result of injury or disease in the performance of military duties;
– persons who have a disability in connection with the service, but undergone rehabilitation;
– persons who received an insurance payment in an amount less than established;
– in the case of the death of persons from the above categories – their heirs.
One -time payment is made at the expense of funds allocated for these purposes from the state budget. Payments will be made by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
