The headquarters of the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ICESCO) in Rabat signed an action plan to deepen cooperation between the Azerbaijan Republic and the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture, the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry said.
According to the signed plan of action, it is planned to conduct joint events within the framework of the global call “World in the name of culture” initiated by Azerbaijan and the partner of which are the alliance of the UN and ICESCO civilizations. It is also planned to support the program of young ICESCO specialists, projects that will be implemented in the spheres of preserving and protecting the cultural heritage of the Islamic world, as well as information technology.
Azerbaijani side plan was signed by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the country’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco Nazim Samedov, from the side of ICESCO – the general director of the organization Salim al -Malik.
