Another meeting of the joint working group on the distinction of the bottom of the Caspian Sea between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan took place on January 24-25, the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry said.
The Azerbaijani delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, a special representative of the President of Azerbaijan on the border and the Caspian Sea of the Galaf Galafov, Turkmen – director of the Caspian Sea Institute, special representative of Turkmenistan on the issues of the Caspian Sea Murat Atadzhanov. The meeting was attended by representatives of the relevant ministries and specialized structures of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
During the meeting of the joint working group, the discussion of the provisions of the draft agreement between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan on the distinction between the bottom of the Caspian Sea continued.
