On June 1, in the capital of Moldova, Chisinau, the president of the Azerbaijan Republic of Ilham Aliyev with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, was held.
At the meeting, an exchange of views on bilateral connections between Azerbaijan and Ukraine was made, the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Ukraine in January 2022 and the discussion held during it were marked. The satisfaction of the development of bilateral connections between Azerbaijan and Ukraine was expressed.
President Ilham Aliyev said that the new ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine was appointed, which will soon begin to work.
President Vladimir Zelensky expressed gratitude for the humanitarian aid of Azerbaijan to Ukraine, care for Ukrainian children and organizing their trips to Azerbaijan, said that it is very highly appreciated.
During the conversation with satisfaction, it was emphasized that Azerbaijan and Ukraine within the framework of international organizations support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of each other.
