Today, the remaining matches of the 1st round of the basketball league of Azerbaijan (ABL) are held in the Service Olympic Center.
In the first match of the day, there were the Khirdalan team AAAF and Baku “Neftechi”. The game that took place in a stubborn struggle ended with a score of 80:77 in favor of “Neftechi”.
The match was attended by a fairly large number of fans who very actively supported the teams. By the way, the entrance to the matches is free.
Two more games will take place today. At 17:30 the meeting of Ganja will begin – “Olympic” (Sheki), and at 20:00 – “Sabah” (Baku) – “Zirva” (Astara).
Recall, in the opening match that took place on Wednesday, the NTD with a score of 77:71 defeated “Sergedchi”.
Eight teams will play four circles. Clubs who took the first four places will continue to fight in the playoffs. The semifinals will take place up to two victories, the final series – up to three victories of one of the teams.
ABL has a limit for legionnaires. There are no more than three foreigners on the site at the same time. This will enable young Azerbaijani basketball players to receive game practice and progress.
