Company in Sumgayt Chemical Industrial Park – CJSC “Azerfloat” Start exporting transparent sheet glass to Israel, reports Turan with reference to the Ministry of Economy.
Plant earned from January of this year. Azerfloat is the first enterprise in Azerbaijan for the production of glass solutions by thermo-deformation. Its power (80 thousand tons of sheet glass or 8 million square meters of glass 4 mm thick) allows not only to satisfy the need of Azerbaijan on a construction glass of various assortments, but also exported.
According to the State Customs Committee, in the first half of this year, Azerbaijan sold 524.4 thousand square meters of leaf glass with a total declared value of $ 1 million 367 thousand. During this period, construction glass has been imported with a total value of about $ 6 million. .
Azerfloat CJSC is a resident of Sumgayt Chemical Industrial Park since 2014. The company invested 100 million euros. The status of the resident of the industrial park frees the company from taxes on income, land and property, as well as VAT and customs duties related to the organization of the initial stage of production.
