Azerbaijan can become hub for Pakistani rice

The liberation of the Azerbaijani Government of Rice Import from Pakistan from customs duties can increase the export of Persistan’s rice to Azerbaijan by 10 times, said the President of the Pakistano-Azerbaijani Chamber of Economic Cooperation (Pakazcham) Hurram Javaid Bhattin at the event.

“Pakistani rice exporters should consider not only the Azerbaijani market, but also the markets of Central Asia with a population of 300 million people. Azerbaijan should be considered as a hub. Pakistan is on the verge of signing a preferential trade agreement with Azerbaijan and other countries. This agreement will help Pakistani exporters send rice from Azerbaijan to other countries. The goal is not only the Azerbaijani market, but also the markets of other countries of the region, ”he said.
