Azerbaijan comes into force a new vaccination requirement from COVID-19

In Azerbaijan from February 1, 2022, all employees of government departments and services must be fully vaccinated from coronavirus. According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the decision was signed by the Prime Minister Ali Asadov.

According to the decision, from February 1, 2022, all employees of state bodies (institutions), all medical, pharmaceutical, scientific and educational institutions, regardless of the forms of ownership, from work on labor or civil law contracts, as well as all workers in the sphere of labor and services listed in the annex to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan dated May 26, 2021 “On measures related to the extension of a special quarantine regime and the removal of certain restrictions”, should be vaccinated by two doses of COVID-19 vaccine or to have a confirming document on the presence of immunity after recovery from coronavirus, or a certificate of contraindications to vaccination.
