In January -February of the current year, oil production, together with condensate in Azerbaijan, amounted to 4.8 million tons, the volume of exports was 3.9 million tons.
This was announced by the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shakhbazov on the social network X.
The minister noted that over the reporting period, 8.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas were obtained in the country, growth amounted to 240 million cubic meters.
According to the head of the department, 50 percent of them were sent for export, that is, 4.1 billion cubic meters of gas.
“In January -February of this year, Azerbaijan exported 2.1 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe, 1.4 billion cubic meters to Turkey, and 0.6 billion cubic meters of gas to Georgia,” said Shahbazov.
During the specified period, the Tanap gas pipeline to Turkey was transported by 0.8 billion cubic meters of gas, the minister added.
