An innovator of modern technologies for the cultivation of sturgeon species, trout, as well as the production of sturgeon caviar in the country, Azerbaijan Fish Farm has concluded a contract with the leading Russian group of companies Maxiffs.
Speaking of “Maxiff”, we note that this is an international vertical integrated group of companies, established in 2018, which includes a number of leading Russian and foreign companies of the full cycle that implement large-scale projects for the processing of fish products, aquaculture and fish feed . For three years from the moment of the basis of the “Maxiff” became one of the significant players in the fish and seafood market in Russia and the European Union.
Head office of the fast-growing “Maxiff” is located in Kaliningrad, and its branch network is distributed throughout the Russian Federation and beyond. Active activity is geographically related to the following countries – Africa, South and North America, Europe, CIS countries and Scandinavia, China, Thailand, and more recently and with Azerbaijan in connection with prisoners with Azerbaijan Fish Farm for trout exports.
Signed between Azerbaijani and Russian companies, the contract is a significant event for the fish farm segment of the economy. It will accelerate the development of this most important industry, stimulates non-oil exports and promotion of the brand “Made in Azerbaijan” abroad, returning to Azerbaijan by the former glory in the international market in the fish industry.
It is especially worth emphasizing the fact that the contract signed by Azerbaijan Fish Farm and Maxiffs will further actively contribute to the development of the country’s economy due to the non-oil sector, which today is one of the main priorities in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan Fish Farm reports that 18 tone of freshly frozen trout will be delivered in the first shipment for a new contract to Russia.
Aquacultural farms for breeding and growing trout and salmon in Zagatalsky, Gabala and Mini Prix areas. They enter into large-scale production projects AFF, the products of which are produced in accordance with international quality standards, including environmental.
It is AFF for the first time in Azerbaijan raised the trout of more than 3kg used for cutting under the gentle fillet. This and other AFF successes in breeding and growing trout became possible thanks to the innovations used by the company in work, allowing to achieve world-class results.
Trout is divorced in natural conditions using modern methods of cultivation – in Mingchierwa these are sad systems, and in Zagatala – flow pools with reverse water supply systems. It was in Zagatala AFF conducted a deep reconstruction of production in order to create a favorable environmental situation for breeding valuable species of salmon. Two types are bred here: a noble rainbow trout, characterized by a gentle taste and a beautiful scarlet stripe on the side and a unique Caspiypian salmon, which is threatened.
