Azerbaijan’s food security agency will reach another success in the field of exports to the EU countries of food and non-food products of animal origin. Thus, the necessary measures were carried out in the direction of the sale of the European Union countries under the veterinary control of the Agency of the Neprisk products, including processed skin, at the same time negotiations were held with the General Directorate of the European Commission on Health and Food Safety (DG-SANTE).
On the basis of the appeal of two local leather manufacturers, the Agency appreciated the compliance of these enterprises with the requirements specified in the rules of the European Commission No. 142/2011, after the elimination of the defects a letter was addressed to the inclusion in the Trade Control and Examination System (traces) and for the first time in our country An export permission to the European Union was obtained from processed skin produced by local skin recycling enterprises.
We note that in order to export from Azerbaijan to the European Union of products and raw materials of animal origin, in accordance with the requirements of the rules No. 142/2011 of this structure, the system of veterinary control was improved in the republic, in order to prevent the possibility of transmission through the skin of zoonotic diseases, Veterinary control has been strengthened by veterinary control, as well as in the production of livestock, as well as enterprises for the production and processing of raw materials of animal origin. The European Union was due to the work done.
Currently, measures are being taken to obtain export permits to the European Union of other products of animal origin, including wool, honey and dairy products.
