Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry answers Sergey Lavrov

“I would like to note that the activities of the divisions established by Azerbaijan and Armenia Delimitational commissions pursue the goal of the division of the state border of the two countries.” This was stated by the head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Leila Abdullaeva, commenting on the statement of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that the situation with the village of Farrukh Khojalinsky district will be considered in the context of the division of borders between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The representative of the foreign policy of the Foreign Department emphasized that within the framework of this process, no issues are consistent outside the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, including those related to the territories in which the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily located.
