Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan soften customs procedures

The authorities of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan plan to sign a draft trilateral agreement to simplify transit, said Samed Garalov, Deputy Head of the Customs Customs Control Department and Simplification of Trade of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

He recalled that this project was developed back in 2016 with the financial support of the Asian Development Bank.

“The agreement has already been signed between our country and Georgia. It is expected to sign by Kazakhstan. In addition, the Georgian side planned the launch of this system from January 1, 2023,” Garalov said at the conference “On the Prospects for the Development of International Road Transportation in Azerbaijan “.

This agreement will improve and simplify the work of carriers in the corridor of the track.
