Azerbaijan handed over to Armenia the bodies of two military personnel neutralized on June 28 as part of the Operation Retribute-2, carried out in response to armed provocation of the Armenian side.
According to the Azerbaijani media, the bodies of Yerwand Tadvosyan and Samvel Torosyan, accompanied by relatives, were taken out on July 1 to Armenia through the border crossing of “Lachin”.
The process was carried out through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
During the operation “Retribution – 2”, as a whole, five members of illegal Armenian armed groups were eliminated.
