In Azerbaijan, a competition for the opening of the educational television channel was declared. The corresponding decision is made at the meeting of the National Television and Radio Council, transfers Trend.
According to the report, the meeting discussed the current situation in the field of television and broadcasting, as well as the question of the diversity of genres on local TV channels.
It was noted that two are sports, two-news, one – about culture, the remaining six – the general genre. Taking into account the demand of scientific and educational programs on television, it was considered appropriate to open profile TV channel.
After the discussion, it was decided to declare the competition for the opening of the profile (education and scientific education) of the National Rubble TV channel.
