The Azerbaijan national culinary team won another medal on the last day of the European Grand Prix 2023: the global contest of the chefs in Rimini (Italy). The cooks who participated in the competition with the support of the State Agency for Tourism won a total of four bronze medals.
On the last day of the European semi-finals of the competition organized by the World Culinary Societies (Worldchefs), the Azerbaijani Chef Emil Zeynalzade won the bronze medal in the category “Global young cook”.
Recall that on the first day of the competition, members of the Azerbaijan team won bronze medals in three other categories-the Global Schefar Contest, Global Chef in Confectionary Case and Global Vegan Chef.
Thus, at the stage of “Grand Prix of Europe 2023” Azerbaijani team won the medals in each of the four categories. This victory allowed the members of the Azerbaijani team to go to the final stage of the World Congress of the Provari 2024, which will be held in Singapore next year.
Note that on the last day of the competition, the coaches of the National Culinary team of Azerbaijan Orhan Mukhtarov and Martin Maitland took part in the process of assessing as auxiliary members of the jury.
Also, the Ambassador Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Italy Rashad Aslanov supported the team by visiting the information stand prepared by the State Tourism Agency on the topic “Karabakh, Shusha”.
