In the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia continues the World Gymnastics Championship.
Today, competitions of group teams have begun, prize -winners in the all -around were determined. The national team of Azerbaijan consisting of Gyuball Agalarzade, Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Zeynab Gummatova, Elizabeth Luzan and Daria Sorokina scored 59.250 points in the amount of two exercises and took 9th place among 29 teams. Prize places in Bulgaria, Israel and Spain.
In qualifications with three ribbons and two goals, Azerbaijan with an indicator of 29.250 points took 4th place and reached the final of this exercise, which will be held on September 18. And with five hoops, our team became the 14th, having received an estimate of 30 points from judges.
Recall that on the two previous days of the World Cup in individual competitions, Zhra Agamirova entered the finals with a ribbon and a hoop, taking the 5th and 6th places in them, respectively. Tomorrow our strongest gymnast will perform in the finale of the all -around.
At the current world championship, in addition to medals, the first licenses for the 2024 Olympics are also played in Paris. They will receive the three best gymnasts following the end of the finals of the individual all -around and the three strongest groups according to the results of the qualification, that is, Bulgaria, Israel and Spain.
