The Military Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan announced the continuation of the search for the bodies of 24 military personnel missing during the second Karabakh war.
“Currently, search groups are looking for a location of 24 missing Azerbaijani servicemen in the TERTER, Fizulinsky, Jebrail, KhojaVan and Khojaly districts, as well as in the vicinity of the city of Shusha. Search works around the Murov mountain range are postponed to favorable natural conditions.” It is noted in the sentence.
According to the military prosecutor’s office, in parallel, there are promptly investigative events around the probability of finding military personnel in captivity or finding bodies on the opposite side.
In total, after November 10, 2020, there were 386 people who are missing among military personnel of Azerbaijan. Over the past period, the identity of 362 missing soldiers has been found and established.
