In 2021, 4.542 billion manat was allocated for defense and national security in Azerbaijan, which is 21 percent, or 787 million manat exceeds the 2020 indicator. According to Trend, the Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov said on Wednesday during the discussion of the bill “On the execution of the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2021” at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.
The Minister noted that the increase in defense capacity and national security of Azerbaijan was carried out on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev.
