On February 14, 2022, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan by Jayhun Bayramov and Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani.
As reported in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, J. Baires asked the Georgian colleague about the situation in the country in connection with the earthquake that occurred yesterday in Georgia. He noted that Azerbaijan, if necessary, is always ready to assist friendly Georgia.
D. Zalkaliani said that the earthquake did not cause serious consequences, and thanked the Azerbaijani colleague for the manifested solidarity.
Ministers discussed current topics of developing bilateral relations, as well as regional issues.
Parties also exchanged views on cooperation in the framework of international organizations and the upcoming events in the coming months.
