“Today, Azerbaijani-Turkish relations are based on strategic partnership, and consistent measures are being taken in the field of army construction in the framework of this partnership.” According to Report, this was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense, commander of the ground forces, Lieutenant General Anvar Efendiev at a conference in Shush on the topic “Azerbaijani -Turkish strategic relations – a source of peace and stability for the Caucasus and region.”
According to him, mutual military cooperation between the two countries strengthens our unity even more: “It is important for us to use the vast experience of the Turkish armed forces, which are one of the strongest armies in the world, in the fight against terrorism.”
