Azerbaijan won 7 medals on last day of Mingychevir Regatta

In Mingiachevir, the rowing “Mingiachevir regatta” ended.

In the competition that started on Friday in Suguushan, and then continued in Mingiachevir, athletes of 13 countries – Azerbaijan, Italy, Georgia, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Kazakhstan, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Ukraine took part .

On the final day of the competition among Azerbaijani athletes to the podium, Nurlan Pashayev – Revan Salahov (Academic Rowing, 1500 meters, 2005-2006), Ramil Mustafaev – Rufat Ragimov (Baida, 500 meters, 2005-2006). Zaur Dzhamilov – Nihad Saadov, Mustafa Yusifzade – Kenan Guliev (Academic Rowing, 500 meters, 2009-2010), Riad Ismailzade – Rashad Dadashov, Nihad Guliyev – Giyas Akhmedov, Amil Ramazanov – Niyaz Melikov (Bayida, 500 meters, 2007-2008) .

summing up the entire regatta, it can be noted that in the rowing competitions on kayaking and canoe Azerbaijan won 5 gold medals, losing only to Turkey, which has 7 higher sample awards.

In the academic rowing, Serbia and Poland were the best, in the asset of which two gold.
