Figure Vladimir Litvinsev, representing Azerbaijan, has won the right to perform in the Winter Olympics of 2022 in Beijing.
Litvinsev’s guide issued at the tournament in German Oberstdorf, where he took 6th place.
20-year-old native of the Russian city of Ukhta is under the flag of Azerbaijan since 2018. Vladimir has already participated in major tournaments – World Championships and Europe. Its best result is the 9th place for the euro in 2020.
To Litvintseva, the Olympic license for Azerbaijan won the figure skater of Ekaterina Ryabova. The best result of a 18-year-old Muscovite under the flag of our country is 6th place at the European Championship 2020.
Thus, Azerbaijan at the Olympics in Beijing will be represented by two athletes. Games will be held from 4 to 20 February next year.
