On the last day of the competition, the Azerbaijani athlete Zelim Kotsyo (100 kg) became a bronze medalist. He defeated Jenarro Pirelli (Italy), but in the quarter -finals he lost Tom Nikiforov (Belgium). In a comforting grid, Zelim defeated Kyle Rees (Canada), and in the fight for bronze he defeated Jafar Kostoev (UAE).
