Azerbaijani and Russian deputies met in Moscow

In Moscow, the 15th meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Bilateral Cooperation of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan and the Council of the Federation of the Russian Federation was held. The APA reports that the head of the Azerbaijani delegation was chaired at the Commission meeting, First Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis Ali Huseynley and Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Galina Karelov.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed by the current state of bilateral inter-parliamentary relations, there was a close cooperation of the two countries within the framework of international parliamentary organizations, including the CIS, PACE, OSCE PA, etc.

Trust between the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, the expansion of the year in the year of the parliamentary relations of the two countries, the fact that Russia is one of the leading foreign trade partners of Azerbaijan, they were emphasized in the speeches of both Russian and Azerbaijani deputies.

Azerbaijan delegation, noting the importance of tripartite statements of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia dated November 10, 2020 and January 11, 2021, stressed that the victory in the second Karabakh war was achieved thanks to the determination and wise leadership of the head of the state of Ilham Aliyev, as well as courage and the courage of the Azerbaijani army, noted the role of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in the signing of the specified statements.

During the meeting, gratitude was expressed by the Azerbaijani side for the wide teaching of the Russian language in Azerbaijan, it was said about successful cooperation in the field of education between the two countries.

At the same time, to the attention of the Russian side, concerns of the Azerbaijani side were brought against the unreasonable and prejudice position of some Russian deputies in relation to Azerbaijan, difficulties with cargo transportation on the border with Russia.
