“First of all, it was established that they were citizens of the Azerbaijani Republic. After that, the embassy repatriated them to Azerbaijan, children were also provided with certificates of return to Azerbaijan and airline tickets.
Upon arrival, the repatriate underwent the necessary medical examination and were placed in the relevant institutions for reintegration and rehabilitation. They are planned to be transferred to relatives after the completion of the relevant procedures, ”the report said.
Note that today the number of Azerbaijan citizens repatriated from Iraq has reached 290 people, these are 288 children and two women.
